Located 550 metres above the sea level on a hilltop, this wonderful ancient country house enjoys of a wonderful 360° view over the Val d’Orcia and over Pienza, the tower of Monticchiello, the Rocca d’Orcia and the Mount Amiata, and in the clearest days it is possible to see also the Val di Chiana in direction of Cortona.
The great position of the country house is easily reachable in 10 minutes from Montepulciano (4 km), Pienza (8 km), Montichiello (6 km) and Montefollonico (6 km). The country house is 11 hectares of land composed of 8 hectares of wood, of an olive groves of 450 trees in production and of a park. A 500 metres private road leads to the main street.
The country house is on two floors and has maintained its original rooms distribution. The ground floor includes a lounge of about 60 square metres as well as four rooms of 29 square metres each. State of repair
The main building has been recently restored. The pavilion roof has completely been redone and isolated. All of the windows have been substituted with chestnut wooden fixture and triple glass with frames (internal shutters). The conservative works have been carried out in respect of the Tuscan tradition. The country house is in need of internal restorations. The owner kept the internal wonderful volumes improving it without giving it a final destination.
